The PTO in cooperation with the PROFI Interface Center offers free one-day classes throughout North America. There are three different emphases: PROFIBUS, PROFIBUS in the Process Industries, and PROFINET. Get the details here and register for a class near you.
Certification Classes are offered for PROFIBUS and PROFINET. There is a charge for these in-depth courses. (The charge is discounted for PTO members.) If you will be designing PROFIBUS networks register for a PROFIBUS Certified Network Engineering class. Just doing the installations? Attend the one-day PROFIBUS Installer's class. Similar courses are offered for PROFINET. In addition, we are offering a two-day PROFINET IO Developer class at no charge for a limited time for those developing PROFINET-enabled control devices. The newsletters are valuable means to be alerted to new product releases, to understand how others are applying the technology, and to keep up-to-date on events. There are three newsletters of particular interest:
PROFInews Global Edition is published six times per year (every other month). This version is also translated into Chinese. Read current and past issues or start your own subscription here.
PROFInews North American Edition is also published six times per year in alternate months from the global edition. This version is targeted at North American users with products and application stories of regional interest. Read current and past issues or start your own subscription

Local Resources
Many of the device manufacturers that belong to PTO are locally represented by Distributors. In fact, some of those distributors are members of PTO, too. You will find a list of PTO distributor members here.
System Integrators are a great resource for on-site needs. Many of them have staff that have completed Certified Network Engineering classes for PROFIBUS and/or PROFINET. Look through the list of PTO System Integrator members here.
